Friends of Belle-Riviere, Inc. evolved from the outreach efforts of Friends of Awakening, an Indianapolis-based meditation group seeking ways to benefit those in extreme need. The group is based on the following resolutions:
This site is designed to acquaint interested parties with the community of Belle-Rivière, recent developments, residents, their needs and priorities, and the ways in which this organization intends
to address those priorities.
These pages describe the efforts and contributions of many but most go unrecognized here. Thank you for your quiet support and encouragement. And thanks to all of you who have offered your financial support through the years. Your awareness and trust have made Belle-Rivière a better place to live.

The majority of FBR financial support comes from individual contributions made during our annual appeal Oct. through Dec.
Fifty percent of personal contributions made in 2017 were matched by an anonymous donor. We hope to offer the same possibility in 2018.
